Anonymous asked: trench??? thoughts???? morph, chlorine, jumpsuit, & my blood are my faves so far but it's likely to change the more i listen. you gonna see them live?
i just saw this. how long has this been in my inbox? yikesi love trench!! i’m so not keeping up with the boys and everything surrounding the album because i’m super busy with school! and work! and life in general! AHH!! i did just read the NY Times article on them though - damn i never thought i’d say that. look at our boys! - and i have listened to the album on the daily since it’s been put out, and i love every second of it. i haven’t put my mind to analyzing or memorizing the lyrics yet but i look forward to doing so once i get a singular ounce of free time. the tracks i’ve had on repeat lately are smithereens (it’s so CUTE) and legend (it’s so SAD but whatta bop man). oh, and pet cheetah is the bomb and no one can change my mindi’m seeing them on Halloween in DC with my favorite concert buddy, the ever-dedicated clique member, my father.

self-confidence, i’m realizing, is a lot deeper than just thinking i’m beautiful and being free in who i am. it also includes being confident in my decisions and trusting myself to be committed to the things i want to do. to step outside of my comfort zone and assure myself that i will be okay in doing so. this kind of self-confidence will help me see the success i want to see.
